Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how OmilooS — the website, documentation, and open-source mobile app — collects, uses, and protects information.
OmilooS is a local-first energy and mesh networking app. Solar and battery telemetry is read directly from your hardware over your local network, and the raw readings are never uploaded. What reaches EmpoorioChain is limited to hashes and commitments. A small summary of your energy situation is sent to the Ailoos servers when you use the AI assistant — see section 4.
This policy applies only to OmilooS. Other Empoorio products (Eoonia Wallet, Ouranoos Cloud, KryptoOS, EmpoorioChain) are governed by their own privacy policies.
1. Scope
This policy covers:
- The OmilooS website (
omiloos.comand affiliated domains) and its documentation - The OmilooS mobile app (Flutter client + Rust native bridge)
- Public EmpoorioChain endpoints used by the app (testnet RPC, EmpooScan explorer)
- The Ailoos API (
api.ailoos.com), which the app calls for the AndromedaLM assistant
It does not cover third-party hardware manufacturers, EmpoorioChain itself, or other Empoorio ecosystem apps.
2. What Stays Local
By design, the following data never leaves your device or home network:
- Raw Modbus TCP telemetry (solar generation, battery state, home load) read from your inverter/battery
- Your inverter's local IP address and Modbus configuration
- LoRa mesh routing tables and radio configuration
- Your node's full telemetry history — only the aggregate described in section 4 is ever sent, never the time series
3. What Reaches EmpoorioChain
Only cryptographic commitments — never raw values — are anchored on-chain, and only when the corresponding integration is actually connected:
| Data | Pallet | Frequency | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| SHA-256 hash of a telemetry snapshot | pallet-iot-telemetry | ~every 5 minutes | Live on testnet |
| Accumulated solar kWh (a number, not a time series) | pallet-solar-generation | ~every 5 minutes of production | Live on testnet |
| Device DID (assigned via KryptoOS during provisioning) | pallet-device-registry | Once, at provisioning | Live on testnet |
| Live spot energy price (read, not written) | pallet-energy-market | Read every 60 seconds | Live on testnet |
| P2P energy order details | pallet-energy-market | — | Bridge code exists; not yet wired to the UI |
Anchored data is public, like any blockchain transaction. Anyone with the hash cannot reconstruct your raw telemetry from it, but on-chain activity is visible to anyone querying EmpoorioChain.
4. What Reaches the Ailoos Servers
The AndromedaLM assistant does not run on your phone. When you open the energy plan or the chat, the app sends the following to https://api.ailoos.com over HTTPS:
| Endpoint | What is sent | When |
|---|---|---|
/api/empoorio/v1/energy-plan | Node DID, battery percentage, average solar kW, spot price, location, timestamp | Each time the daily plan is requested |
/v1/chat/completions | Your message, plus that same energy context embedded in the prompt | Each time you send a chat message |
/api/nodes/register | Node DID, device id, device type, declared capabilities, timestamp | Once, when a device is provisioned |
/api/nodes/model-update | Current assistant version | When checking for assistant updates |
/api/rewards/claim | Node DID and the claim being made | Only if you claim rewards |
location is a coarse identifier (country), not GPS coordinates, and no raw Modbus time series is included. These requests carry no user account: OmilooS has no login, and the node DID is the only stable identifier attached to them.
If you never open the assistant, no energy data leaves your device for Ailoos.
5. Website Data
When you browse omiloos.com:
- Technical logs — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps, via Firebase Hosting / Google Cloud CDN logs
- Cookies and local storage — theme preference and similar functional storage
- We do not require account registration to read documentation
6. Third-Party Services
- Firebase Hosting / Google Cloud — serves the public website (
omiloos.com) - GitHub — hosts the OmilooS open-source repository, issues, and discussions
- EmpoorioChain public RPC — the app calls
https://rpc.testnet.empooriochain.organd related public endpoints directly from your device - Ailoos — operates
api.ailoos.com, which runs the AndromedaLM assistant and receives the data listed in section 4
We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from telemetry or on-chain data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data we hold about you through official channels (contact form or GitHub). We cannot delete on-chain commitments once anchored — that is a property of public blockchains — but we can help you stop future anchoring by disconnecting your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the Last Updated date above.
9. Contact
For privacy questions about OmilooS specifically, write to jjavier.frooget@gmail.com, use the contact form, or open an issue on GitHub.
