Terms of Service ​

By using the OmilooS app or interacting with its EmpoorioChain integrations, you agree to the following terms.

1. APP USAGE ​

OmilooS is open-source software provided under the Apache 2.0 License.

  • Households, installers, and developers may use the app and connect compatible hardware at their own risk.
  • The Empoorio Foundation provides the software "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • OmilooS is currently in active testnet development — features described as "not yet connected" in the documentation are not guaranteed to be live.

2. HARDWARE & CONNECTIVITY ​

  • OmilooS reads telemetry directly from your solar inverter or battery manager over Modbus TCP on your local network. You are responsible for the security of that local network.
  • LoRa mesh networking uses unlicensed ISM-band radio spectrum (868/915 MHz). You are responsible for compliance with local radio regulations.

3. COMPLIANCE ​

Users and installers are responsible for ensuring their use of OmilooS complies with local and national regulations, including electrical safety codes, radio spectrum rules, and grid interconnection requirements where applicable.

4. DECENTRALIZATION ​

EmpoorioChain is a decentralized network. The Foundation does not control validator operations, cannot revert on-chain transactions, and cannot recover lost private keys used to sign transactions on your behalf.

5. MODIFICATIONS ​

These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
